Welcome!
Outreach High School is an alternative school providing high school courses in a flexible and friendly learning environment.
It is a school designed for high school students and adults who want their high school diploma but find it difficult to be successful in a traditional school.
Outreach accounts for different learning styles, and allows students to learn at their own pace. Students have the opportunity to work independently on their studies but still have the support of knowledgeable teachers.
How It Works
- With teacher assistance, students build their own program from Alberta Education approved courses and set their own long and short term goals in order to complete the requirements for a high school diploma.
- Students do independent work, some self-directed and some teacher-directed, in a comfortable, friendly environment.
- Courses, activities, and learning packages are set-up so students can successfully complete one module per week. For the 30 level courses, students can complete one module every two weeks.
- The program can accommodate students who require flexible hours and individualized programs.
- High school credits are awarded upon course completion.

Why Outreach?
The Outreach program is an alternate education site that provides a service to a wide variety of needs.
Outreach program recognizes the student as decision maker and as such has control over the rate of work, creation of a personal attendance schedule, and choice of course work. We offer a small, personable and relaxed atmosphere where student success is our focus.
